My sister in law just had a baby boy last week. With Halloween being just around the corner I thought I'd make her a special Halloween hat incase she didn't want to buy him a full costume. This will at least keep his head/ears warm and can really be warn during the winter and not just for Halloween. I can make this hat in any size, I can change any of the colors and make the bride as well or just girly up this one if wanted. It is listed under the 'Animals-Fancy' drop down.

Matching Owl
I found this great pattern to make character ear warmers so I just HAD to try them out! I made this one for my daughter, it's an owl ear warmer. I'm going to make my son a Yoda one once I find the right color of green (my husband is a little picky on the color for it). I LOVE THESE! I think they are fun to add just a little touch if you don't want to wear a hat but you want something more than just an ear warmer for your kids (or yourself, even one to match your kids hat maybe). Anyway, I can make a plain ear warmer and you can add a flower or get a fancy ear warmer, whatever you would like. Just let me know more in the comments when checking out.
And I had to show you this hat. I got my daughter a bed set for Christmas and then her grandma got her this pillow to match the bed set for her birthday so I had to make her a matching hat. She loves it and I think it turned out great! Do you have a stuffed animal that you want a matching hat for? Send me a picture to my email and I'll let you know a price estimate.

Owl Beanies without the flaps
Want to know what the owl hat would look like without the earflaps? Well, your wait is over! Below are two of them. I can't decide which eyes I like better, I LOVE the big eyes on these hats but I've had one or two tell me they like the smaller ones better. Let me know what you like in the comments below.
Boys and Shoes...
I decided to make all of the boy shoes so you can see them all side-by-side. I made them all in the brown and yellow to go with the giraffe hat. I don't have any of the sandals listed below but all of the other shoes are listed. I will be creating a 'high-top' shoe in the future, I think that should do it for boy shoes but at least you can see the options. I'm hoping to do this for the girls as well before the end of the year. Anyway, from left I have the ankle boot, top middle is the crocs, right is the loafer with one button and bottom middle is the loafer. I only have one loafer option listed to purchase but just list in the comments at checkout if you would like the one button instead.

Giraffe
I think I have to make this hat in Julie's size. I just LOVE the mustard color with the brown. I also think a pink giraffe would be cute, you can change up the colors all you want, add more spots, take them off, add eyes instead, whatever! Such a fun little hat, again, more animals :) If you have a large family you could easily do a zoo themed winter! I still have more to come, might take a few days though since I haven't started them yet ;)

Sock Monkey Beanie
I've been meaning to make a sock monkey hat for a while now. I didn't make this one in the traditional colors since I was making it for twin boys and I wanted it to match the other hat (owl) and the crocs. It's made in a stone blue with white and tan for the body. The girl is hot pink with a gray/white yarn and white. Hat can be made in any color/size combination. Girl monkey is made with a small flower attached by the ear for added detail. Please write in comment section what colors you would like and any other details you wish for me to know. The blue hats are extra thick since I double the yarn, great for keeping warm. The girl is made with a single yarn. They can be made with our without earflaps as well.

Owl Beanie
The Owl Beanie is now available! This has been my favorite hat and the reason why I wanted to learn how to crochet so I can make my daughter this hat. The one posted below is to match the crocs but you can have any color/size combination you would like and you can have it made without the ear flaps if you would like. Owl beanies can be made with our without earflaps and can be made with double the yarn for an extra thick hat (blue/tan hat below). You can also have a small flower attached by the 'ear' for additional detail if you would like.

Monster Mash
This monster is for a 6 mo old boy but I made it a bit bigger to fit for the winter when he'll need it. My beautiful yet unwilling model is my gorgeous 2 year old daughter. I put this hat on her and chased her around the house for some pics. So after running behind the door to the bathroom....
And hiding in our pop-up tent in the living room...
And even trying to run outside...
I was able to come out with two pictures of her smiling and holding still long enough for decent pictures.
So here's the new Monster hat with earlaps. I really LOVE how this turned out! It has two horns, two eyes, a nose and three teeth. You can custom colors or leave it random. You can also get this hat without earflaps or without the braids. If you don't like the horns or just want one, that can be arranged as well, same with adding antennaes or just about anything else you can imagine. Hat can be made with or without earflaps and can be made in any size, colors, features, etc.
